21-03-18- Brian Acton is one of the founders of WhatsApp, which in 2014 was acquired by Facebook at 19 billion dollars. After finding about the social network's data breach scandal, he joined the social media campaign exhorting you to delete your Facebook account.

Acton shared the tweet on his page on the social network, which already has more than 3,000 retweets with the hashtag #DeleteFacebook. What's more, he put it on his Facebook page, which for the moment has also not been deleted.

Brian Acton, after the multi-million dollar acquisition of WhatsApp, spent years working for the company. He left Facebook and WhatsApp in September 2017. His partner and co-founder, Jan Koum, continues to work for the company.

After amassing millions and leaving WhatsApp in spectacular fashion, albeit with rumours about head-butting with Facebook's management, Acton donated 50 million dollars to the Signal Foundation, a foundation created by developers of the Signal application and the code that WhatsApp uses.
